I have not given a bit lately. I’ve been busy getting everything ready for the big move to Portland, Maine. A few days ago the Poems DWB Lite has been released and is on the market. The sales have been much higher than I had originally anticipated.

Also Poems DWB 2.1 update and the Jokes TF 2.1 update has gone into review and should be released very soon. Both updates contain extra content and a few minor bug fixes.

The Jokes TF application has also had the category “office” removed. Ten jokes have also been added to the inventory. I am currently working on new graphics for this app to make it more visually pleasing and more fun.

Hopefully I will finish this update before I move, otherwise it will take several weeks for me to finish. I don’t have any plans once I get out to Portland, just that I’m going there.

Fining a job will be on my highest priority, then finding a place to live. After that I will start hard-core app building.

The client of this app, DWBDreams has asked me to push another update to apple with 5 new poems. Nothing else has changed, but it’s only a matter of time before she gets me to add more features. For all of you buyers out there, please be patient and it will all be worth it!

 I was training with sound on the iphone SDK and created this app in the process. It’s not an impressive app, nor any type of advanced app. I did learn a great deal about xCode and iPhones, so it is all worth it. Although it is so simple, I thought it was very fun, and have used it for a long time with family and friends. It did exactly what it was supposed to: annoy people!

This app is hosted and updated by TwistedScreams. I just built it and submitted it.

A new update for this newly released app is now submitted and just waiting to be checked out by apple. Not much changed in this version, just 10 new jokes. I was just in the mood to submit something so I didn’t take much time to update any thing else.

The next update will have better graphics, and much better transitions! The 10 new jokes are in the “New” category but I will list the names here, just to make this post longer than it needs to be.

Submitted way back when, this little app took forever to be released. I thought it wasn’t going to make it for a while, but today it has been accepted and published. I am now gathering 10 more jokes to add to the app and then I will submit an update for all of you fans out there!

Later I will be adding the feature to the app that connects to a server and pulls the jokes down by itself instead of waiting a week and a half for the updates. I will also add the feature to set favorites, and sharing the jokes.

A lot has happened today, and this just adds to it. Now, a completely free version of Poems Lite is being reviewed, and hopefully accepted soon.

There are many great poems available, and has the improved, faster UI than previous versions of Poems DWB. There is advertisements, but none that you absolutely have to click on. If you do feel the urge to tap a few, then please do so, it will give me and the poem artist motivation to do more!

The app I was hoping would start a spark in a local group to expand their operations and take the whole group to a new level, has been rejected by apple just now.

The email they sent me states that the app is to specific to a small group of people. For the app to be accepted I will have to design the app to include a larger audience mass. The problem with that is, I don’t know how to do it. What to change, what to add, etc… But I will work on it, and try to get it up and running.

This is the app I was most looking forward to showing off and was going to be my pride and joy, but has been rejected by apple. They state that the screen shots weren’t rated 4 years and below. I have replaced the screen shots and resubmitted.

The email they sent makes it seem that I wouldn’t have to wait the entire week and a half to two weeks for the review. I’ll post when it comes out!

This app has now been accepted and ready for you to download!! It has some great pictures, but all in all, very simply done. Just a table with some great stories and a nice color scheme.

So far this small app has gotten over 15 downloads and growing. A new update will be submitted very soon to add more stories, and fix the name under the icon.

I meant to post this yesterday, but I was having some trouble (still not solved) and so was to busy to post updates. A client’s app’s update was submitted several days ago, and was accepted / available yesterday. It consists of better images, improved “about” page, and 4 new poems.

There is a small problem tho. The new update is only available for 3.1.3 OS software and I don’t know why. I can’t change it, and I’m getting the run around with apple, which is weird, usually they fix things very quickly and are very helpful. Might just be a bad day. I’ll continue to try and fix it, but for now you’ll have to suffer (if you have an older OS version on your phone/ipod).

I’ll soon submit another update for this app, hopefully improving more images (client’s approval pending), and add around 5 more poems. I will also submit a lite version of this app. Will be completely free, but have advertising, and will not receive nearly as many updates as the paid version will receive. The paid version will soon be feature rich with categories, “favorites” and ability to submit one’s own poems/articles. There will be more features than that, especially when I start creating this app for the iPad.

I’m going to talk to the client (DWBDreams) to see if she would like this app to have the poems built into the binary like it is now (for faster loading and offline use), or if she would like the app to connect to a web server to grab the poems and down load them on the fly. Or if she would like to have two apps, one for offline and one for online. Can call it “Poems Air DWB”? I’m really bad with naming, and I don’t know which decision she will make. I will let you all know of any news I find out.
